Program Design

I have lead the Centre for Youth Literature team (within the State Library Victoria) since 2011; I am responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating a suite learning, literature and literacy programs for young people. My programming is innovative, inclusive and progressive, and highly collaborative.

Reading Matters

Reading Matters is Australia's leading youth literature dedicated conference and program. Reading Matters fosters a sense of community, builds awareness and knowledge and connects writers with their readers. 

Story camp

The Story Camp program, held during the school holidays, provides teens (aged 12–15)  the opportunity to nurture their creativity, engage with creative mentors, and build networks with their peers.

Digital programs

Online professional development courses, peer recommendation reading website for teens, mentorships and live streamed events.
